This is pretty awesome and I am sure can be applied to other cancers if it works out.

I know at the University of Michigan (and probably elsewhere) they have been working with Opdivo & Yervoy (immunotherapy) to fight Breast Cancer for a few years. It should be pretty dialed in now. Immunotherapy can have some deadly side effects but when it works it can also be amazing vs chemotherapy.

"preserve breast tissue outside the body for at least a week"

That sounds very useful in cancer research, and also a step towards every scientist's goal of growing breasts in the lab, just to squeeze them all day.

Scientific progress grinds to a halt.

"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

1. remove breast tissue
2. apply aggressive treatment that would injure the body
3. return tissue

would seem like an immediate improvement for women
