(CBS12) " New details were released in the attempted robbery and stabbing that left an off-duty deputy seriously injured in Greenacres on Tuesday evening, with PBSO noting a possible policy violation for the deputy leaving his car unattended while off duty. According to the arrest report, the violent incident unfolded at the Cost-Less Cleaners at 4180 South Jog Road and Lake Worth Road. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) responded to a distress call reporting a stabbing and attempted robbery at the business. At around 8:40 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene to find two victims, according to the affidavit. The first victim, an off-duty PBSO deputy Willie Hanks, had sustained stab wounds to the left hand and torso. The second victim, an employee at the dry cleaners, recounted the harrowing events leading up to the attack.
