W's Daughter has more balls than him.

George W. Bush's daughter Barbara campaigns for Harris in Pennsylvania Barbara Pierce Bush says she is "hopeful" the vice president will move the country forward. Her dad, a Republican, hasn't made an endorsement. With just a week to go until Election Day, yet another member of a Republican political dynasty is throwing their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris. On Tuesday, Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush and granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush, revealed she's backing Harris in next week's election.

The former first daughter " the fraternal twin sister of NBC "Today" anchor Jenna Bush Hager " spent part of this past weekend on the campaign trail, knocking on doors in battleground Pennsylvania for the Democrat.

"It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend," Bush, 42, told People magazine. "I'm hopeful they'll move our country forward and protect women's rights."

This isn't the first time Barbara Pierce Bush has publicly broken with the Republican Party. In 2017, she was the keynote speaker at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Texas, where she praised the organization's work and stressed the need for its advocacy under the Donald Trump administration.

While her father has made it clear he has no plans to endorse a candidate this cycle, his former vice president, Dick Cheney, has already thrown his support behind Harris. And Cheney's daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., has appeared with Harris several times on the campaign trail in recent weeks. Bush isn't the only former first daughter backing Harris. Susan Ford Bales, daughter of former President Gerald Ford, announced her support for the vice president last week.
