NUMBER 24 on Netflix

On the brink of the Second World War, a young Norwegian man's drive to resist the Nazis sets a new course for his future " and the future of his country.

History is absolutely our best way to understand the present; NUMBER 24 has relevance for us today; worth watching! if, for no other reason than to learn about unsung heroes from an earlier time, and think about how they would react to everything we see happening today.

Comments

I watched 100 Years of Solitude recently. It's really great.

"100 Years of Solitude"

There's a series? Need to get to that.

"There's a series?"

Yes, 16 episodes, although I think only 8 are available to the public so far.

I never understood what all the hoopla was about "magical realism" was until I saw this. There are so many fake, pale in imitations of it that don't even compare (e.g. Like Water for Chocolate)
