It's unfortunate that we have to rely on an autocratic dictator like Putin to keep our own psychopath-in-chief from starting World War III on behalf of Christian nationalist loons and Israel.

But that is what it has come down to.

There's absolutely no way that Putin will allow this to happen. All the deal-making Trump has been trying to do with Russia has nothing to do with Ukraine. It has everything to do with trying to keep Russia from interfering with this long-planned attack. Trump thinks he can buy off Putin.

Putin knows this more than anyone and Iran is a critical strategic chess piece for the long-term security of the southern frontier of Russia.

What surprises me as how silent the mainstream media in the US has been about this. They are so completely beholden to Zionist interests that they have become a completely useless entity at this point in time.

Trump works off of the assumption that having more autocrats and dictators in the world means that they will protect one another (including himself), just as long as they respect each others' regional hegemons and spheres of influence.

The fundamental flaw in this assumption is that we're no longer living in 1825.
