Iran getting a nuke is the only thing that will actually bring peace to the region. Only with a nuclear Iran will Israel be constrained from constantly attacking its neighbors. Trump is the best president we have had in my lifetime (and it is not even close) but he was wrong in attacking Iran. Ceasefire or not, Iran will either do a nuke test with their homegrown nukes or will announce a nuke from Russia within the next 3-6 months. The nuke warhead is actually the easy part - a ballistic missile that cannot be intercepted is the hard part and Iran has already demonstrated that capability.

I can only hope Trump's attack was 4D chess with the intention of pushing Iran to go nuclear so we can have peace in the region.

Failed war in what sense? They are winning and will force an unconditional surrender in the near future. They have now learned of all the latest NATO tactics, ramped up with armaments production, forced Europe to kill their economies with high energy prices and new defense spending, their economy was successfully decoupled from the West with BRICS and providing an alternative to SWIFT, and showed that NATO military might is vastly overrated. Lastly, they showed the world that they have a stomach for a protracted war with casualties - something the West was not able to stomach since Vietnam. They are emerging much stronger from this war.

Yeah, you still don't get it. Willingness to accept a protracted war with casualties has nothing to do with population size. The US is over 2x larger than Russia in terms of population but the US would never stomach even losing 10K soldiers in a foreign war. It is a mentality a country either has or it doesn't - Russia has it and has had it for 1000 years.
