A never-before-seen video released Tuesday by a member of Congress appears to show a U.S. military Hellfire missile bouncing off a bright, shiny object that was being tracked off the coast of Yemen on Oct. 30, 2024.
What exactly do the acronyms "UFO" and "UAP" stand for, and why have they become such a hot topic of conversation? #space

ed,
I've been keeping up with disclosures the last 6 years.
If you want to see an informative condensed TV series only 2 seasons long that hits a lot of the high lights, watch History Channel Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation.
This is nothing like the series Ancient Aliens. This series gives you background of people who are putting themselves at risk and in depth interviews.
Do you remember Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid 2005-2017. He went out on a limb back then and pushed for funding to investigate UFOs.
Today the available factual documented info is too compelling to continue to ignore or laugh off.

This is an interesting series of subjects, I'm very interested in archeology and regularly watch some independent explorers and scientists regarding "reliable interpretation" versus "deliberate production". You might want to check out Angry Astronaut presentation, he is sassy and quite informed: Aliens:1 USAF:0 - UFO shrugs off Hellfire Missile! This was the most important UAP Hearing yet! 66,529 views Sep 10, 2025
The relationship with modern UFO sightings and televised information seems dreadfully dissimilar.
Red,
And we haven't even covered crop circles adequately.
Get boards and ropes out of your head.
Some of them are extremely sophisticated and tied to mathematics.
If you want a good exposure to crop circles, watch the movie Thrive.

I'll check out the film, this is a subject I have appreciation for.
Crop circles are nothing but a hoax. It's been proven.

You remind me of Trump trying to sell Swasticars on the White House lawn and never having driven a car, let alone a "cyber truck". How to say "I know nothing and add nothing" any better than that?
Did you read the parts about "mathematics" and figure "that's what computers do! It's all done by computer!"
Or, did you mean those two knuckleheads who used a plank and rope and claim to have created some of the most exquisite art installations ever seen by so few?
Sure. And JFK was shot by Oswald, 9/11 was Muslim terrorists and the government is controlled by lizard people. Back to sleepy-time. Maybe a nice true crime podcast and Baileys!
The crop circle phenomenon was apparently ignited by a 1974 film about super-intelligent ants. The movie was inspired by an HG Wells short story "Empire of the Ants." In Phase IV, now a cult classic, the ants have no way to communicate with humans, so they demonstrate their intellect by drawing perfect geometric shapes: as2.ftcdn.net
After the movie debuted, farmers began creating crop circles. They began out-doing each other whenever the newspapers showed photos of an elaborate pattern in Kansas or Australia. Conspiracy theorists jumped on this as proof of aliens visiting the Earth, but the intent of the hoax was to show super-intelligent ants (or other insects) on their farms (like in Phase IV): m.media-amazon.com
