Makes no aggressive maneuvers, or any maneuvers at all for that matter.

Within seconds, and with no explanation, Western Civilization tries to destroy it.

The missile didn't detonate. Neither did that missile appear itself suffer damage by way of impact. It just continued on its way

But it did impact the object, which did appear to survive. And continue on its way.

High strangeness.
