Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, September 12, 2025

A never-before-seen video released Tuesday by a member of Congress appears to show a U.S. military Hellfire missile bouncing off a bright, shiny object that was being tracked off the coast of Yemen on Oct. 30, 2024.

This is 5000 years of history in one ten second video.

Unknown, unmarked entity enters the scene.

Makes no aggressive maneuvers, or any maneuvers at all for that matter.

Within seconds, and with no explanation, Western Civilization tries to destroy it.

The missile didn't detonate. Neither did that missile appear itself suffer damage by way of impact. It just continued on its way

But it did impact the object, which did appear to survive. And continue on its way.

High strangeness.

Yes. Despite thousands and thousands of first-hand sphere observations there have always been zero attacks on anyone.

Tiny pieces re-aligning and following indicate observable physics bending in a field?

Yes. Despite thousands and thousands of first-hand sphere observations there have always been zero attacks on anyone.

To be clear. I don't support or condone shooting at superior advanced alien craft.

But according to what I have seen (not vouching for their accuracy) reported lately on UFO activity that is not exactly true.

Reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) attacking civilians in South America have occurred throughout history, including documented incidents in Brazil and Peru. The accounts are largely attributed to eyewitness testimony, though some of the incidents have been investigated by military and government officials.

Residents claimed that UFOs fired intense beams of light, causing burn marks and puncture wounds. Victims described a feeling of a "heavy weight" on their chests, and some reportedly had blood extracted by the light beams. Some people allegedly died from the incidents.

I find the behavior of the debris to be very interesting. It looks like the debris follows the UFO, even appearing to accelerate with the UFO after the UFO appears to recover from the collision.

This is one of the more compelling videos, imo.

I have issues with Alien crafts visiting Earth. Space is just too friggin big and travel is too slow.

But I think it's more likely than not that there is intelligent life, and not just a civilization or two.

I base this on the hypothesis that we are not special, which is largely accepted amongst physicists.

Admittedly, I am very comfortable with Newtonian physics, but I struggle to think about things outside of that paradigm.

Worst,

Either they have learned how to move through space without actually moving, or they have lived on earth longer than humans have existed.

The latter is accepted by many people who are interested in this subject.

Worst,

Luis Alizondo is considered a foremost expert on the study of UAPs. The following excerpt is from his book that came out last year.

"I was shocked to find that a lot of my colleagues and I began experiencing firsthand some of these orbs at our homes. In fact, my wife was a complete skeptic on all this. That is, until she saw an orb in our house for herself. We had a long main hallway in the house, and one evening a green, glowing ball, probably about the size of a basketball, with soft edges that weren't defined, floated down slowly from the kitchen to our bedroom door just below ceiling height, then disappeared into a wall."

You all look the same to me too.

Are you certain you are referring to spheres and not black operations imitations?

Muddying the subject really shuts conversation down quickly, I suppose.

Red,

I've been keeping up with disclosures the last 6 years.

If you want to see an informative condensed TV series only 2 seasons long that hits a lot of the high lights, watch History Channel Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation.

This is nothing like the series Ancient Aliens. This series gives you background of people who are putting themselves at risk and in depth interviews.

Do you remember Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid 2005-2017. He went out on a limb back then and pushed for funding to investigate UFOs.

Today the available factual documented info is too compelling to continue to ignore or laugh off.

Red,

And we haven't even covered crop circles adequately.

Get boards and ropes out of your head.

Some of them are extremely sophisticated and tied to mathematics.

If you want a good exposure to crop circles, watch the movie Thrive.

Crop circles are nothing but a hoax. It's been proven.

Red,

Or a movie about a small school in another country that all the children witnessed a craft that landed and the children saw the occupants.

After the excitement was all over the children were informed to not talk about it.

After they became adults some got together and discussed their personal experience.

This is documented in the movie The Phenomenon.

Laura,

I've been looking at crop circles for years. Some are beautiful and complex.

I am now seeing some in Google search that are obviously AI generated.

That is unfortunate for those truely interested in the genuine ones.

An interesting trait among many of the most interesting ones is they are 2D representations of a 3D shape.

You have to use your mind's eye to visualize a round 3 dimensional object or shape viewed from one POV.

Nope. It is definitely, 100% not AI.
It is quite real, quite natural, and beautiful in both what it looks like and what it does.
Humans have absolutely no roll in their creation, either.

A thread where BILLJOHNSON demonstrates yet again he (?) is either a complete fraud or delusional.

BILLJOHNSON...there is no god, no angels, no salvation.

How do I know? LOL.

Extraterrestrial intelligence? Maybe, the observable universe is almost unimaginably huge, complicated, and unknown.

If there are extraterrestrial civilizations, they have no need of us or our planet. If they can get here, they've solved all their problems.

Unless they see intelligent species other then themselves as an "abomination" - you know. Sounds like your fairy tales.

Yes, the phenomenon of crop circles is largely considered debunked, with a consensus that they are man-made hoaxes or a form of landscape art, rather than extraterrestrial phenomena or unexplained natural events. In 1991, artists Doug Bower and Dave Chorley famously took credit for creating hundreds of circles in the UK using simple tools like planks and ropes, demonstrating how they could be made overnight. While some still believe in their "unknown origins," there is no scientific evidence to support these claims, and all crop circles are consistent with human creation.
Key Evidence and Explanations:
Man-Made Hoaxes:
Bower and Chorley's confession is a primary piece of evidence that many crop circles are hoaxes. They detailed their methods, which included using planks, ropes, and even a baseball cap with a wire to flatten crops in patterns.
Landscape Art:
Crop circles are now widely recognized as a form of landscape art or performance art, created by artists.
Human Causation:
All crop circles documented to date are consistent with human-made origins.
Lack of Scientific Evidence for Other Theories:
There is no scientific support for theories involving extraterrestrial involvement or supernatural explanations.
Why the Myth Persists:
The Lure of Mystery:
The idea that some crop circles might have an unexplained or supernatural origin taps into a human desire for mystery and enchantment that isn't always satisfied by science or traditional art, according to Smithsonian Magazine.
Conspiracy Thinking:
Similar to other conspiracy theories, the simpler, straightforward explanation (human creation) is sometimes rejected in favor of a more complex story, notes NBC News.
"Unexplained" Sightings:
While some people point to unexplained aspects, such as mysterious lights or unusual plant bending, these are not evidence of alien activity. The phenomenon began to decline in credibility and ceased to be a credible indicator of aliens when the hoaxers took credit.

OK. If it makes you feel better, that's fine.

You are as delusional as BILLJOHNSON, but OK.

Hmmmm...improvements in smart phone GPS and actual crop circle apps.

No, nonsense. Must be aliens.

BS. LOL.

There is nothing that special about humans other than our uncanny ability to kill anything and everything. Including ourselves.

"They" are not here - maybe nowhere. That kind of tracks for the maximum perversion of the universe.

Before you and BOBJOHNSON do the silly with interpreting "perversion" as sexual - it's not.

But I get why you clowns might go that route.

Billy,

You've touched on an interesting conflict that will be created if UFOs are confirmed by the government.

How will people integrate this new information with our religious beliefs held all over the world?

The potential for global chaos and collapse of the systems that provide order and structure, could destroy much of what keeps people from killing each other.

An interesting thing about many of the observed things in the air, is the frequency of those sighting being around nuclear energy.

Confirmed actions such as nuclear missiles safety systems overridden in the US and Russia, combined with strange sightings overhead.

Some people suspect we're living on THEIR planet and don't want humans to radiate the place.
