Mexico has extradited 29 drug traffickers who were being held in different prisons across the country to the US on Thursday, according to the Mexican attorney general's office. Among the 29 are theformer leaders of the Los Zetas cartel, Miguel ngel and Omar Trevio Morales, known as Z-40 and Z-42. As well asRafael Caro Quintero, former head of the Guadalajara Cartel, and Jos ngel Canobbio, alias El Gerito, a lieutenant ofLos Chapitos,one of the factions of the Sinaloa Cartel.
