Police respond to reports of armed man outside of CIA HDQ

Police are responding to reports of an armed man outside of the CIA headquarters in Virginia. According to WUSA, police are responding to a man who is experiencing a "mental health crisis." Aerial footage shows a large police presence at the CIA headquarters. The Fairfax Police Department said on X that it is on the scene with its Special Operations Division to support CIA police. He has a gun? Isn't that a plus in today's world? Multiple states have had statutes to remove guns from people with mental illness struck down.

There's nowhere to put these people long enough for them to get sufficient mental help.

The police usually put them underground, so yeah, there isn't enough space, but it's not like there's a good mechanism to get them into treatment or halfway homes or what have you either.

It's a thing our nation has chosen not to care very much about, at the highest levels.

Vagrancy used to be a crime. Trump and the Republicans would like to return us to those days.

And we will certainly have the prison space, after the number of camps needed to detain millions of illegals pending deportation.
