Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is hiding in the back of the closet :)

Wayyyyy in the back.

Wearing his mom's summer dress, and some nice open toe sandals.

#5 | Posted by billy_boy at 2025-06-03 08:10 PM

Rename it the USNS John Wayne.

Hegseth is such a puny bitch, his staff must have loads of dirt already.

A Department Of Defense book tour sounds spectacular!

Pickled Pete should rename after the woman he raped.

Rumor has it the new name is the "USS Robert E. Lee"

#5 wouldn't surprise me. The traitor trash in power now would do such a thing.

The traitor trash in power now would do such a thing.

Not for an oiler. There's a carrier coming up named for a black man, maybe they could save it for that.

Backstory ...

Harvey Milk
en.wikipedia.org

... Harvey Bernard Milk (May 22, 1930 " November 27, 1978) was an American politician and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Milk was born and raised in New York. He acknowledged his homosexuality in adolescence but secretly pursued sexual relationships well into adulthood. The counterculture of the 1960s caused him to shed many of his conservative views about individual freedom and sexual expression.

Milk moved to San Francisco in 1972 and opened a camera store. Although he held an assortment of jobs and frequently changed addresses, he settled in the Castro, a neighborhood that was experiencing a mass immigration of gay men and lesbians. He ran for city supervisor in 1973, but the existing gay political establishment resisted him. Milk's campaign was compared to theater due to his personality, earning media attention and votes, although not enough to be elected. He campaigned again in the next two supervisor elections, dubbing himself the "Mayor of Castro Street". The voter response caused him to also run for the California State Assembly.

Due to his growing popularity, he led the gay rights movement in battles against anti-gay initiatives. Milk was elected city supervisor in 1977 after San Francisco began to choose neighborhood representatives rather than city-wide ones. During Milk's almost eleven months in office, he sponsored a bill banning discrimination based on sexual orientation in public accommodations, housing, and employment. The Supervisors passed the bill by a vote of 11"1, and Mayor George Moscone signed it into law. On November 27, 1978, Milk and Moscone were assassinated by Dan White, a disgruntled former city supervisor who cast the sole vote against Milk's bill. ...

FTA: "Secretary Hegseth is committed to ensuring that the names attached to all DOD installations and assets are reflective of the Commander-in-Chief's priorities, our nation's history, and the warrior ethos"

Harvey Milk was a true warrior who fought in defense of US citizens, unlike Peter Hesgeth.

I don't believe Harvey would have wanted to be anywhere but closer to our fine seamen, so I am outraged!

"Warrior ethos"? More like pathos.

Milk sexually assaulted a 16 year old boy.

Get his name off the ship.

#31 | Posted by BellRinger at 2025-06-04 09:13 PM

@#15 ... Milk sexually assaulted a 16 year old boy. ...

Got a link for that?

And why did that not seem to be mentioned in Sec Hegseth's explanation?

#32 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-06-04 09:27 PM

Tor,

"He was a groomer.
and his military service wasn't impressive compare to other gay people."

I bring something up from time to time because it was an honor to have known someone.

The summer of 1975 I was in the Navy and was friends with Leonard Matlovich who was in the Air Force. Sept of that year he was on the cover of Time magazine with the caption "I am a Homosexual". Believe it or not, that was actually earth shattering news for a lot of mainstream America who believed the military was all straight.

He was the first active duty gay person to deliberately out himself to his commanding officer and bring the wrath of the military anti-gay policy onto himself. This was long before DADT when simply no gays were permitted and you had to lie to sign up and live in continual fear of being exposed. I ended being discharged the end of that year. I got 2 versions of my DD-214. One said "Homosexuality-Unfitness" and the other left that box blank. I got a General Under Honorable conditions discharge and retained all benefits.

Leo had an exemplary military record and deserved to be recognized more than he was.

He was known well by many gay people but they didn't make a movie about him.

@#19

From the link your current alias cites (and thx for finally providing any manner of substantiation of its comments ...)

...It is true that in 1964, Milk, then 33 years old, entered a relationship with Galen McKinley, who was 16 years old, according to the Milk biography, "Harvey Milk: His Lives and Death." The relationship started in New York City. ...

Later, the pair spent time in California, where the age of consent has been 18 years old since at least 1920. Their California sojourn occurred around 1969, when Galen McKinley was 23 years old. The two remained a couple until at least 1970 and they stayed in touch for years after that.

In sum, while it is possible Milk's relationship with Galen McKinley may have violated the laws of consent in the state of New York in 1964, it does not appear that modern psychological standards would deem him a pedophile.

So, did he sexually assault a 16-year-old boy, as your current alias asserts? Or was it consensual?

#39 | Posted by Tor at 2025-06-05 02:03 AM

@#22 ... the drunkard happened to be right about something. ...

What was it right about, and why?

#40 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-06-05 02:15 AM

"and you had to lie to sign up"

Why would you do that, that's the part we really don't understand.

#41 | Posted by snoofy at 2025-06-05 06:49 AM

Snoofy,

"Why would you do that, that's the part we really don't understand."

My parents split up when I was in Middle School. Couldn't live with my mom or my dad. Neither worked out.

No other relatives. No siblings or other relatives I knew.

My dad was Army all my childhood and we moved constantly so I had no stability. I dropped out of high school after 10th grade.

I turned 17 and had to get on my own. Mom was pretty messed up from the divorce and my dad couldn't relate to me so we had no relationship. After trying to live with him things began turning violent. Lost contact with him when I signed up.

Right after turning 17 I joined the Navy. My entrance exam qualified me for anything I wanted to do except nuclear.

After being assigned to a squadren (I had gone into avionics), while on a cruise I was spotted overseas coming out of a gay bar by men I worked in the same shop.

The military was about my only option I could see at the time so that's the reason I joined.

The specifics when I became sexually active is more detail than is anyone's business.

#42 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 08:51 AM

No coincidence this is how the Trump Department of Defense celebrates Pride Month.

BillJohnson doesn't even think it's a slap in the face. To the contrary, he knows gays need to be kept in their place in the closet and out of the military.

#43 | Posted by snoofy at 2025-06-05 01:21 PM

What's the problem, as the dems had mo problem with renaming military bases. --- for Tat babies, --- For Tat : )

#44 | Posted by MSgt at 2025-06-05 02:17 PM

Msgt,

And all the statues removed and didn't accomplish a thing except make dems look more petty and oblivious to real problems.

They're more focused on conformity of thought and call it progress.

Even Biden's press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre left the Democratic Party.

#45 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 03:47 PM

Snoofy,

"BillJohnson...knows gays need to be kept in their place in the closet and out of the military.'

Your post was slanderous and personal.

I am resurrecting my Do Not Post lost.

You're the first name on it. Any post directed at me or about me from you will go unread.

You might actually be demon-possessed. I want no communication with you...now or ever.

#47 | Posted by Alexandrite at 2025-06-05 04:25 PM

The truth is an affirmative defense.

#48 | Posted by snoofy at 2025-06-05 04:33 PM

"And all the statues removed and didn't accomplish a thing except make dems look more petty and oblivious to real problems."

But renaming the USS Harvey Milk doesn't make Republicans look more petty and oblivious to real problems?

Seriously?

#49 | Posted by snoofy at 2025-06-05 04:35 PM

Alex,

"Maybe he's the tooth fairy."

If people would suggest Trump is the antichrist, a literal figure from the Bible, its not unreasonsible to point to other Biblical entities as well

Howevern, the last I checked, the tooth fairy isn't mentioned anywhere in Scripture.

#50 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 05:02 PM

It's hilarious reading BullJohnson pretending to be a Christian.

Who knew Christ was so full of anger, ignorance and hatred?

If it were up to BullJohnson, homosexuals would be put into camps and tortured until they, like him, accept a heterosexual lifestyle.

#52 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 05:42 PM

Clown,

You know that's not true.

But hey...if you're trying to make my list, you'll have to work a little harder.

#53 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 05:59 PM

"Your post was slanderous and personal."

Observations are not slanderous.

Noting you lied to get into the service, lied to stay in the service, allowed a lie on your discharge papers, and lied in real life when you got married...

...those are all truthful observations. Stating a true observation isn't slanderous at all.

Your accusation actually reflects back on your guilt, not the other person speaking the truth.

#54 | Posted by Danforth at 2025-06-05 07:12 PM

"If people would suggest Trump is the antichrist..."

I noticed when I asked how many "Aniti-Christ" boxes Trump checked, versus how many "Ten Commandments" he followed, you ran for the hills.

#61 | Posted by hamburglar at 2025-06-05 07:58 PM

Dan,

To be the Antichrist, you have to check all the boxes and not just a few.

Trump can't be the Antichrist.

The real one will be admired worldwide, hailed as a savior, and perform signs that deceive the masses.

He won't cause mass hatred. He'll inspire global worship.

The Bible says the world will love the Antichrist.

Trump? Half the world wants him in prison.

#62 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 08:28 PM

Trump is gluttonous.

Trump is envious.

Trump is prideful.

Trump is lustful.

Trump is greedy.

Trump is wrathful.

Trump is slothful.

His supporters are a combination of the aforementioned deadly sins.

#63 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 08:33 PM

Trump can't be the Antichrist.

The real one will be admired worldwide, hailed as a savior, and perform signs that deceive the masses.

He doesn't need the "worldwide".

He's got America.

He's deceived you deplore Trumping MAGAts into hailing him as a savior.

#64 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 08:36 PM

Clown,

The Bible says the antichrist will deceive the world and appear good.

His sins won't be so obvious.

What you listed defines a "sinner", not the antichrist.

#65 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 08:42 PM

The Bible says the antichrist will deceive the world and appear good.

Are you claiming Trump isn't good?

#66 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 08:42 PM

Clown,

I'd wager a bet every one of the sins you listed you've committed one time or another, as have I.

In fact, you've done at least one today.

Right now, at this very moment, you're being wrathful and prideful.

#67 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 08:50 PM

Projection, Bill?

#68 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 09:02 PM

Clown,

What's funny though is any other time you'd probably be offended if someone preached at you telling you repent from your sinful ways.

But if you do the finger pointing at Trump or me it's no problem.

And then you would call me a hypocrite.

How did Jesus put? Why do you complain about someone having a splinter in their eye when you have a log in yours?

#69 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 09:11 PM

Point out the log.

#70 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-06-05 09:12 PM

"Projection, Bill?"

I already said I'm guilty of sinning.

This is getting boring since you're not bothering to think.

#71 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-06-05 09:13 PM

"To be the Antichrist, you have to check all the boxes and not just a few."

You're in complete and total denial.

Trump is six for six.

Meanwhile, you can't name Two Commandments Trump embodies.

#65 |

Trump checks ALL the boxes perfectly and continues to do so:

antichrist45.com

If those verses had been written by Nostradamus or Edgar Cayce, people would be going apesht about them right now.

He's actually checked off several more verses since those were written.

#73 | Posted by Corky at 2025-06-05 09:52 PM

Should they rename it the George Floyd in honor of Democrat politics of honoring criminals and rioters? It is a true mistake naming or rewarding any person with such an honor based on demographics or sexual identity instead of actual accomplishment.

#74 | Posted by Robson at 2025-06-05 09:59 PM

I dunno Robson (and who knows this may even shock the ole Queen Clownshack with what I'm about to say) but Milk did actually accomplish a few things ... Sure he was gay, but ... He did honorably serve in the Navy (of course he did) and he decisively pushed through anti-discrimination ordinances for lesbians and homosexuals in San Francisco. I'd say that's certainly some level of accomplishment.

#75 | Posted by Bluewaffles at 2025-06-06 01:45 AM

Hey BlueWaffles.

He made it legal for you to bend over.

Have you said 'thank you' once?
