Just 38% Support Trump's Use of Troops to Police DC

Few Americans outside President Donald Trump's Republican Party support his deployment of National Guard troops to police the streets of Washington, D.C., according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. The three-day poll, which concluded on Sunday, found that just 38% of Americans support using troops for law enforcement in the U.S. capital, with 46% opposed. The rest were unsure or declined to answer the question.

There is a great video floating around of some ICEHOLES walking up to a porch somewhere in DC and asking for ID. Some local men were drinking and smoking on a porch stoop and those men knew they weren't doing anything wrong and weren't about to provide any ID. The ICEHOLES got real nice all of a sudden. It's gonna make a great comedy skit someday.

Whether the ends justify the means is a fundamental ethical question.

And being as you have no ethics or morals there would basically be no point in attempting to discuss it with you.

The decision of whether the ends justify the means often depends on context and specific circumstances, such as:

If there are other, more moral options available, then the immoral means are not justified.

Intention:
The motivation behind the action is crucial; if the actor has ulterior, selfish motives, the action is less likely to be justified.

During the early months of the pandemic, with lockdowns and other restrictions in place, D.C. saw a substantial decline in several crimes.

It's to do exactly what I said a week or two ago-control the movement of people in DC.
