Even though the shutdown is over, the GOP's signature tax and spending law is poised to kick people off the nation's largest anti-hunger program.
After weaponizing the shutdown to block SNAP benefits for hungry people, the Trump Admin is using the oldest trick in the book to do more of the same. This kind of red tape does nothing to prevent fraud -- it just makes it harder for working people to get the benefits they need.
