... Understanding genetic changes in naturally short sleepers -- people who sleep for three to six hours every night without negative effects -- could help to develop treatments for sleep disorders, says co-author Ying-Hui --, a neuroscientist and geneticist at the University of California, San Francisco.

Yeah, back about four decades ago, I once worked for a manager who needed only three or four hours of sleep each night.

In the beginning, it was interesting, but then, after many, oh so many discussions, he became aware of his ~condition.~

Interesting, but all in all, the best advice for we humans, is understand we need peace and quiet and being able to get a relaxed period of sleep. NOT, some idiot pill that somehow lets us survive as drones with little to no sleep. NO, I do not trust big pharma even a little bit.

Joe Biden definitely missed out on this mutation too as he needed a "lid" on every day activity before he accomplished anything.
