Genocidal apartheid is the way...at least according to Israel and if the Trump gang has its way, in a third of the country where Black votes can be discounted.

There are far more poor people than super rich Musks...so the poor should be able to vote in champions, but many in MAGA are just fools for hate...and the ability to hate on people who are female, who are Black, who like public education and hate ignorance spewed from an ignorant pulpit.

Sociology, the study of people in groups, has far, far more to say about the future of mankind, sorry, humankind, than does psychology or physics. That is why it is condemned to the backwaters of even the liberal pursuits. While the work on "string theory" went on, we have been herded into competing camps, to be ignored as to our needs to survive the coming debacles of global warming, the end of the fossil fuel age, and the, one expects, death of one person, one vote democracy.

If Trump goes for an illegal coup, he does have his tame and corrupt Supreme Court to rely upon.

Clearly there is a mood in the White House, and that mood is "with us, or against us" and to be with Trump is to be without independent mind, or rational thinking...to be idiotic as Patel and as destructive as Kennedy, that would be RFK Jr, not necessarily the Senator.

This chaos happened in Russia too, just read Alexei Navalny's autobiography "Patriot". First came the senile leaders, then the gangsters, and then came Putin and the oligarch inherited wealth royalty.

I think what is happening is that a few years ago the Republican Party was alerted by a demographer that somewhere along the timeline, perhaps in 2045, we whites are not going to be in the majority, and so from then on it is war against that ever happening. The Supreme Court is corrupt, that is clear, as Trump said in regards to them "you owe me". MAGA is white supremacy, it is male supremacy, it is at its core, White Christian Nationalism.
Racism is not new, but it is clear that the midterms just may be a time when America faces a real danger of another Jan. 6 coup attempt.

We Americans are waging war against the world, murdering and blockading at will, all highly illegal but since we murdered the rule of law no one can stop us. It is as if the mass murderer Ted Bundy were running the White House. I don't care if this brutal behavior makes MAGA happy, it is making the US an outlaw nation.

As for me, the greatest loss to date...is our morality, our ability to claim that we are friends of the rule of law. In truth, we murdered over 80 people in a sneak attack on Iran, and we murdered many people on the high seas and goodness knows we murdered many people when we kidnapped Maduro.
We killed more people than Ted Bundy....so I guess we Americans are mass murderers.

So ask someone why they voted for the fascist Trump, to run our democracy. My guess is they felt left out and liked the idea of taking the entire country down the rabbit hole to its demise.

If I were in the travel industry and depended on getting a lot of foreign travelers, I would be holding my breath during the World Cup matches...if ICE treats LA the way it treated Minneapolis, if there are terrorist bombings...if there are riots....

I don't bet, but if I did, I would bet that Trump will, fairly soon, resign so that Vance can rise to the Presidency and pardon everything and anything that the Trump grifting gang has or will do.
Then Trump takes his billions and laughs like anything at all the fools who voted for him to do anything but wreck this country. It is what I would do, though I do long to spend my last years on a Hawaiian beach, and Trump probably has different visions of his heaven on earth.

And one watches the sold out Supreme Court make sure your vote doesn't actually control anything or anyone. Today's Republican Party is the property of the grifting class, Wall Street and the rest, who are doing great.
