9 killed in Russian strike on civilian bus in Ukraine

Nine people have been killed in a Russian drone strike on a passenger bus in north-eastern Ukraine, local officials say. The Sumy regional administration says another four people were injured in the town of Bilopillia on Saturday morning. Medics, emergency services personnel and police are now working at the scene. The reported attack comes just hours after Russia and Ukraine held their first direct peace talks since 2022.

... Russia and Ukraine held their first direct peace talks ...

Pres Putin currently seems to have no interest in peace talks.

Given Pres Trump's support of him, Pres Putin seems reluctant t talk of peace than he had been.

Even before the peace negotiations had even started, the "Art of the Deal" President ceded the major demands of Pres Putin.

Realizing that weakness of Pres Trump, did Pres Putin come to the peace table to talk, or did Pres Putin accept that surrender of Pres Trump and then ask for even more?

From what I have seen, the latter seems to be the current outcome.

A.k.a., Pres Trump looks to be surrendering Ukraine to Pres Putin in order to win the Nobel Peace Prize he seems to covet.
