The Palestinians were also required to complete demilitarize so they couldn't defend against anything Israel did in the future. And they would also have to accept Israeli settlements already on Palestinian land. The land they "controlled" would be in 5 different pieces and travel between them would be control by Israel.

Israel has never and will never offer peace or governance to Palestine. They will instead continue to undermine and kill Palestinians faster or slower depending on whatever justification they can muster.
