... France intends to recognise a Palestinian state in September at the UN General Assembly, President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday in hopes of bringing peace to the region, but the plan drew angry rebukes from Israel and the United States.

Macron, who unveiled the decision on social media, published a letter sent to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas confirming France's intention to press ahead with Palestinian recognition and work to convincing other partners to follow suit. ...

I always thought Israel recognized Palestine when they agreed to the UN partition of the land into two countries, Israel and Palestine.

Which brings up an interesting question.

Did Palestine ever have a government in 1948? 1949?

Why wasn't Palestine admitted to the UN?

Israel was admitted 1949, why didn't the UN admit Palestine?

Seems to me this would have made their claims legitimate.

I mean if the UN doesn't recognize your claim, do you even exist?

I guess America still consults AIPAC to decide who we choose to recognize. Which also influenced how we treated Palestinians for the last 50 years.

You think that giving tanks to people whose founding charter called for installing an Islamist state that will kill all the Jews will "stop the genocide?"

1988 Hamas charter
The original Charter [...] defines the struggle to be against the Jews and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic Palestinian state in all of former Mandatory Palestine, and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel. The charter has been criticized for its use of antisemitic language, which some commentators have characterized as incitement to genocide.
en.wikipedia.org
The only thing stopping the Palestinians from killing every Jew they can lay their hands on is their lack of means. As demonstrated by the 70%+ approval rating Palestinians give their October 7th atrocities ("Over 70 Percent of Palestinians Support Hamas's October 7 Terror Attack," March 21, 2024 www.nationalreview.com )

Meanwhile, Israel has all the tools needed to commit an actual genocide, but they have demonstrated remarkable restraint. Far more restraint than an American government, Democrat or Republican, would have shown in their place. Despite the fact that instigating such a response was the Palestinians' entire goal for the October 7th atrocities.

But the Pro-Hamasers continue bending over backwards to portray the terrorists as victims, now even calling for the Western world to arm them.

In any event, France's offer to recognize Palestine requires Palestinians to recognize Israel. Watch the pro-Hamasers try to excuse away the Palestinians' refusal to do so. Because what they really want is to see the Jews dead. Whining about alleged Palestinian suffering is just the means to that end.

PARANOID RANTING. PROJECTION OF INTENT.

Israel is Not Showing Restraint. They shoot hundreds daily.

They are slow walking this by using starvation to do the heavy lifting. It gives them diplomatic cover as they are not "actively" killing People, only letting them die by denying supplies.

Claiming corruption and theft when supplies are missing or not provided.

Israel is Very Trumpy that way.

Scum of the Earth, just like Trump.

And You...

Israel Buries and Burns Over 1,000 Truckloads of Spoiled Gaza Aid 26/07/2025

The spoiled aid, left rotting at the Kerem Shalom crossing for weeks, was buried or burned. "We buried everything in the ground, even burned some of it," said an Israeli army source. "Even today, there are thousands of packages waiting in the sun. If they are not transferred into Gaza, we will be forced to destroy them too."

The aid totaled over 1,000 truckloads, the source added.

Military officials blamed the destruction on what they called a failed aid distribution mechanism, referring to the Israeli-US Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

..

Officials said that even during previous ceasefire deals, large quantities of aid never reached Palestinian civilians. "During the prisoner exchange deal, 4,500 trucks allegedly entered daily. Much of it never left the crossing area," the army source said.

..

This revelation comes as Israel continues to starved Palestinians in Gaza for over 145 days. Over 122 people, most of them are babies, were staved to death by Israel.

Wow! Those are almost October 7th numbers, if you multiply by ten.

Yes, civilians die during war. Maybe the Palestinians should have thought about that before starting this one. But of course they did. Dead Palestinian "civilians" is the entire reason you guys called down the hand of Allah on October 7th.

And now the world will get to watch you guys refuse to recognize Israel's existence (again) in September and make lame excuses for doing so. And this French offer will lapse and the Palestinians will add another notch to their belt of losses.

Sadly, apparently despite being slaves themselves in Egypt for 400 years, the purpose of which was to teach Israel to never be cruel slave masters, either didn't take or has worn off completely.

And their foes have been victimized tools of mid-eastern oligarchs (some actual kings and princes) of their closer cousin Arabs and such who surround Israel, but used Palestinians as proxy fighters for many decades now.

So you're where Israel was 25 years ago. Before the Palestinians defecated on Bill Clinton at Camp David and handed power to Bibi and his ilk by going full nutter with attacks on Israeli children at restaurants and buses.

Second Intifada
Palestinian terrorists committed a number of suicide attacks later in 2001, among them the Sbarro restaurant massacre, with 15 civilian casualties (including 7 children); the Nahariya train station suicide bombing and the Pardes Hanna bus bombing, both with 3 civilian casualties; the Ben Yehuda Street bombing with 11 civilian deaths, many of them children; and the Haifa bus 16 suicide bombing, with 15 civilian casualties.
en.wikipedia.org
Leading Israel to decide it was best to cut the Palestinians out of their lives, including by no longer granting Palestinians work permits to enter Israel. Which bought Israel decades of relative peace, as opposed to greeting every weekend with another Palestinian terror attack on innocents.

And the Palestinians cry and play victim. All children are innocent in their eyes, so long as they are Palestinian.

Watch the Palestinians refuse peace, yet again. And then cry about it when they launch their next terror attack and get their gefiltes handed to them.

If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we'd rather be alive and have the bad image.

It's when the Two State Solution was gunned down by a Far Right Ultra Nationalist Jew.

But Zionism has always, since before the nation of Israel was born, been committed to taking ALL the Jewish Ancestral Homeland, From The River To The Sea.

The question is no longer do Jews have the right to self-determination in the Ancestral Homelands of the Jews.

The question is, do other people have any rights there at all? And the answer, so far, is "Apartheid."

Israel is a Mistake of Historical proportions.

Guilt about one genocide has spawned another. Israel's entire history as a "Jewish State" has been one long string of Crimes and Murders.

The Israelis have been the bigger Liars and Terrorists all along..

They never considered the locals anything but impediments to the creation of an Ethnostate for Jews. With ironically, many of their leaders being Jews in name only. I doubt Bibi believes in Yahweh or any other God. His limited morality shows no religious convictions.

Murder, land theft, corruption of his official perogative. He seems to have no Moral code whatsoever.

Will to Power and naked Appetite are about all he is.

But he directs American policy, not Trump. As regards Israel.

You know nothing of the history of this conflict. You've already been fact checked into oblivion on Camp David. And you completely ignore that the Israelis have been randomly killing and kidnapping Palestinians for decades.

Because you're too stupid to remember getting fact checked last time:
The Camp David deal was an ambush, take it or leave it deal to the Palestinians. It demanded the Palestinians give up claims to East Jerusalem and the Jordan valley, and accept Israeli control of Palestinian movement, water sources, electricity, telecommunications, and Palestine must forfeit the Right of Return. The Palestinians were also required to complete demilitarize so they couldn't defend against anything Israel did in the future. And they would also have to accept Israeli settlements already on Palestinian land. The land they "controlled" would be in 5 different pieces and travel between them would be control by Israel.

Israel has never and will never offer peace or governance to Palestine. They will instead continue to undermine and kill Palestinians faster or slower depending on whatever justification they can muster.

The solution has always been what it is today. To compromise and share the land. The Palestinians have refused multiple times over the last 80+ years and they will refuse again in September. And the pro-Hamasers will make excuses for them.

I would love to be proven wrong, and for the Palestinians to finally see reason and "settle." But if there's one thing the Muslims have shown in their 1,200+ years of colonization and slaughter of nonbelievers, they aren't keen on free thought.

For instance the US new about 9/11 why didn't it stop it. Literally it means someone had the idea and wrote it down that 9/11 was happening, in that way the US knew 9/11 was going to happen. BUT the system was such that it could not respond due to bureaucratic BS and fear of being called racist.

"This is false"

This is true. You must not know what Right of Return means.

The reason Israel cannot allow a Right of Return is because Israel is a colonial state and colonialism works by ethnically cleansing the land. Which they have done and continue to do.

When it was your ancestral homeland, and you are forced to leave, and you have no Right of Return, you have been ethnically cleansed from the land.

Right of Return
en.wikipedia.org
The right of return is a principle in international law which guarantees everyone's right of return to, or re-entry to, their country of citizenship. The right of return is part of the broader human rights concept of freedom of movement and is also related to the legal concept of nationality.[1] While many states afford their citizens the right of abode, the right of return is not restricted to citizenship or nationality in the formal sense.[2] It allows stateless persons and for those born outside their country to return for the first time, so long as they have maintained a "genuine and effective link".[2][3]

Palestinian Right of Return
en.wikipedia.org
The Palestinian right of return[a] is the political position or principle that Palestinian refugees, both first-generation refugees (c.30,000 to 50,000 people still alive as of 2012)[3][4] and their descendants (c.5 million people as of 2012),[3] have a right to return and a right to the property they themselves or their forebears left behind or were forced to leave in what is now Israel and the Palestinian territories (both formerly part of the British Mandate of Palestine) during the 1948 Palestinian expulsion and flight (a result of the 1948 Palestine war) and the 1967 Six-Day War.

Amid rising starvation in the Gaza Strip, an Israeli government minister said on Thursday that Israel had no duty to alleviate hunger in the territory and was seeking to expel its population.

Amichay Eliyahu, a far-right lawmaker who leads Israel's Heritage Ministry, said in a radio interview that "there is no nation that feeds its enemies," adding that "the British didn't feed the Nazis, nor did the Americans feed the Japanese, nor do the Russians feed the Ukrainians now." He concluded that the government was "rushing toward Gaza being wiped out," while also "driving out the population that educated its people on the ideas of Mein Kampf,'" an antisemitic text written by Adolf Hitler. ..

I am shocked to learn that you, someone who denies the Palestinians' October 7th atrocities of hunting down, raping, and murdering 1,200 Israeli civilian men, women, and children, are unconvinced by reasoned discourse.
But we always have September to look forward to, when the Palestinians' refusal to recognize Israel costs them recognition, again. I know there's no chance you'll try to spin that to blame the Jews, again.

To clarify - you are stupid and obtuse.

Don't listen to me, listen to doctors, aid workers and the murderous Israeli parliament.

How is Hamas the legitimate government of Palestine if there is no nation of Palestine?

"But we always have September to look forward to, when the Palestinians' refusal to recognize Israel costs them recognition, again."

What do you mean, "Palestinians' refusal to recognize Israel costs them recognition, again."
You speak of "Palestine" as a singular political entity, a nation.
But you also insist there has never been a nation called Palestine.

When are you going to acknowledge it was more like 900 killed by Palestinian militants and 300 killed by IDF Hannibal Protocol?
Since you're such a stickler for the numbers.

I don't see why that's such a problem for you to acknowledge the simple truth.
1 in 4 people killed that day was killed by IDF.

Why? To save them from a fate worse than death, at the hands of the Arab animals.
You should be leading with that, not burying it.
That's how you people think.

Better a dead Jew, than a living Jew in Palestinian captivity.
Better dead Jewish hostages, than reuniting them with their families.

"again throw away their chance at statehood"

So you're saying there's a chance!

Censored, can you acknowledge Israel's publicly stated policy under Likud is Israel will never allow a Palestinian nation to exist?

Can you acknowledge Yigal Amir, a Jew, assassinated the Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin because Israel was taking steps to allow a Palestinian nation to exist?

The fact that you can't do those things makes you a Boaz, a Robson, a Fishpaw in this discussion.

The level of un-education and disinformation you bring is tantamount to Nullifidian claiming Ukrainian Nazis shot down MH17.

Democracy NOW! "Our Genocide": Israeli Human Rights Groups Accuse Israel of Destroying Palestinian Society in Gaza

"Israel is taking a systematic, organized action to destroy Palestinian society in Gaza, and this is the textbook definition of genocide. The report also says that this action by Israel is a reflection of a genocidal regime, therefore this also a great risk that given certain circumstances the genocide Israels actions will spread to other areas where Palestinians live under Israeli control."

Humans are (or at least were) a part of nature.

Men created bombs and bullets.

So then the question is ... bombs and bullets natural?

"Palestinians throw 9 grenades into a shelter full of kids at a music festival?"

Why would you hold a music festival meters from what you've been told your whole life is a group of bloodthirsty terrorists who will throw 9 grenades into a shelter full of kids at a music festival the first chance they get?

Make it make sense.

Inevitable with the Labour government that is pushing to make it criminal to criticize Islam.

This is how Labour's new definition of Islamophobia could spectacularly backfire
There of course remains a danger with use of the vague term "Islamophobia" to describe hatred against Muslims. It not only captures anti-Muslim hatred, but also legitimate criticism of religious doctrine.

So, criminal charges for someone who points out the sheer evil of 50-year-old Mohamed marrying a six year old girl and bedding her at the age of 9.

The very reason Israel exists is because the world always turns against the Jews. Western democracies turning on Jews because Muslims pony up more votes is just another example of that truism.
