Yet Pres Trump wants to preserve the tax cuts to billionaires.

Dummkopf Trumpf receives world class medical treatment at WRAMC and his attending physician is a USN Captain and osteopathist specializing in emergency and tactical medicine. Members of Congress have a USN Rear Admiral treating them at a modern, well-furnished clinic inside Capitol Hill.

Why does the wealthiest Country on the planet seem to be unable to provide affordable healthcare for its citizens?

Has "healthcare for a profit," a.k.a. Capitalism, failed the Country in this critical area?

#3 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-10-17 04:26 AM

It's the "healthcare industry."
And that's why it has and will continue to hurt and kill people.
Lots of money to be made.
Casualties are just a cost of doing business.
It's about the bottom line and the squeeze.
And it ain't the fault of your nurse practitioner.
Not by a long shot.

Thune and Johnson had more to do with it than old pudding brained Pedo 47.

They got what they voted for.....tax cuts for billionaires and bankruptcy for farmers and the middle class. Here is their chance to show us how they pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

The GOP serves the 1% only and the big ----------- bill proves it.

Guess so many are not aware that it was the dems that set the COVID subsidiary to sunset this year - NOT Trump. Also, those prices were already rising before COVID hit.

A point to ponder:

MSTRBTR is a government dependent who has always relied on government handouts to pay for his medical. He has nothing meaningful to add to the conversation because all his working adult life... he avoided working in the "free-market" and manipulated the government into taking care of him... and his family... for his entire life.

It is a good thing that Idahoans live off the land. They are purely self-sustaining mountain men with no reliance on the liberal world. One native Idahoan I know travels long distances in his super duty diesel to forage for his own food at the town's meals on wheels program.

National Health Care divides the trustworthy industrial countries from those countries, actually, that country, that cannot be trusted as they harm their own citizens. We are the only industrialized nation not to have some sort of national health care for all.

I guess GOP voters on Obamacare are getting a look at the healthcare plan Der Dotard and his acolytes have been promising for the past ten years. I hope they like what they voted for, because no one does ...

The triple-digit premium increases are so bad, Trump will have to release the Epstein Files for cover.

Someone might explain this ...

Biden and Elite Democrats pushed ACA tax credits to expire in 2025. Why not make them perm? Because the costs via the CBO made the debt explode, more than it is currently.

Now they are about to expire, and its Trumps fault?

I don't understand this logic, its Pelosi's fault for not making the credit permanent.

Idahoans don't need health insurance; all the hospitals and clinics are gonna shut down anyway.

Damn ... PEDO47Care is expensive.

" Bob McMichael, 63, and his wife, Leslie, 62, are retired and make about $42,000 a year."

Then they're eligible for subsidies. Unless that's $42K apiece.

Eligibility for couples was below $62K initially, and has risen with inflation since then.

Also ... what kind of stupid fkkks retire in their early 60s with so little money?!?

" Guess so many are not aware that it was the dems that set the COVID subsidiary to sunset this year - NOT Trump."

And Republicans wrote tax giveaways to billionaires to sunset ... but the Republicans voted to extend them, so ...

... clearly the folks in power can do what they want. If Trump wanted to continue the subsidies, Republicans could do it the same way they extended tax cuts.

You've got all three branches of government. It's time for The Party of Responsibility to take some responsibility.

You aren't too bright in the game theory domain.

Why would the Republicans ever fix something the Elite Democrats broke. Dems thought they could just keep piling this credit on no matter the cost, and never thought about the day the Republicans can use it to their advantage. Blaming Republicans won't go anywhere with the people.

Dems should have fixed it when Biden came into office, but they just decided more money was the answer.

Sad times for your grandchildren.

Why? Is everything in Idaho run by the government?

#24 | Posted by oneironaut at 2025-10-18 11:38 AM

" Why would the Republicans ever fix something the Elite Democrats broke."

Because they're in power.

Trump talked about his plan, coming out in two weeks. Remember? Better care, for lower prices.

Of course, that was eight years ago.

Trump has failed on both fronts.
