Rep. Mark Green's last day in office was Sunday, leaving 219 Republicans and 212 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Republican lawmakers fear Washington may be headed for a government shutdown later this year after two bruising fights over President Trump's One Big, Beautiful Bill Act and a $9 billion rescissions package have created bad blood on Capitol Hill, The Hill reports.
