HUD Website Blames Liberals for Government Shutdown

I don't know how long it will stay up but Hud.gov is committing an apparent violation of the Hatch act. Visitors to the site are greeted by a banner that says "The Radical Left in Congress shut down the government. HUD will use available resources to help Americans in need."

The DOJ has a similar message.
"Democrats have shut down the government. Department of Justice websites are not currently regularly updated. Please refer to the Department of Justice's contingency plan for more information."

Donald Trump wanted the shutdown because he says it gives him power to fire people and do other mischief.

He not only said this, he gloated over this.

Its so clear now, the Democrats' way to make the Affordable Care Act more 'affordable' is for the government to give everyone more and more money with which to purchase high-priced insurance.

Healthcare isn't even part of the equation.

That's really all the shutdown fight is about. How much money can we give the rich to hide the ACA mess.
