Apple Event Expected to Feature a Slimmer IPhone

The next iPhone to be even slimmer.

I think the iPhone Air is going to be a bigger hit than anyone expected - including Apple

Reminds me of the satire phone commercial where people were lining up outside the phone store to buy the latest model because the headphone jack was moved to the bottom of the phone.

"Why are you standing in line again?"

"Because they moved the headphone jack to the bottom of the phone."

"Did they change anything else?"

"ITS ON THE BOTTOM"

Is it thin enough to double as a shank in prison?

No? Then no sale!

I'll keep using my current phone until it's unsupported. Then... Linux phone?

Ya, I don't know what I am going to do. I have no use for the "Air" phone. Phones are fine as thin as they are. What I need is a better price. When I saw the new prices my jaw hit the floor. Not only are they making up for tariffs they are doing a whole lot more.

I will deal with my primitive i{hone 16e which featured a much lower price than the other models but does require some sacrifices such as my camera has only two lenses instead of three. The real truth though is the unnecessary complexity which causes me to miss calls due to settings like "focus" being set on a complicated time schedule totally irrelevant to a retired person's life. It's a fantastic gift from my daughter which she gave me after I stupidly let a pickpocket steal my old iPhone 11 from my pocket outside a Publix supermarket while I was buying girl scout cookies in front of the store. the thief nust have been so disappointed when he discovered that my debit card had been totally depleted when I shopped in that same Publix just minutes before he stole it with my phone though he did try at a Shell gas station only a few blocks away. If Apple wants to offer new technology perhaps a loud siren that goes off if the phone is moved more than a few feet from the owner's chip in his/her head?
