Doomsday Clock Ticks Closer Than Ever to Apocalypse

Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Science and Security Board: On January 27, 2026, the Doomsday Clock was set at 85 seconds to midnight, the closest the Clock has ever been to midnight in its history. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Science and Security Board (SASB), which sets the Clock, called for urgent action to limit nuclear arsenals, create international guidelines on the use of AI, and form multilateral agreements to address global biological threats.

The Doomsday Clock now stands at 85 seconds to midnight--the closest it has ever been. When the New START treaty expires next week, there will be nothing stopping a new nuclear arms race. Trump and Putin could agree today to stick with New START limits. We can turn back the clock.[image or embed]

Irrelevant group continues to be irrelevant. Does anyone believe we're closer to nuclear war than we were during the Cuban Missile Crisis? Leftists like this think history began when they were born.

"The Bulletin's Clock is not a gauge to register the ups and downs of the international power struggle; it is intended to reflect basic changes in the level of continuous danger in which mankind lives in the nuclear age." en.wikipedia.org

The saddest part is that the majority of problems are all because people can't compromise. All people know how to do these days is be hypocrites who blame everyone else for the world's problems but ignore everything their own side does that is bad.
