Will SC Justice Alito Retire This Year?

Speculation is growing over whether Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito could retire, fueled by career milestones and an upcoming book.

A retirement by Alito, the court's second-oldest justice, would give President Donald Trump a chance to nominate a fourth member of Supreme Court, potentially shaping the court's conservative majority for decades.

Why not?

He seems to have grifted all he needs from his tenure.

more at the thread link

there's also a video detailing possible stock scandal implications with a new rule... only Alito and the Chief Justice own stocks, so.

If he waits until after the midterms, and Dems win the Senate, I expect they would hold the seat up until Dotard is out of office. Pull a McConnell on them, maybe Judge Keg dies in a drunk driving crash and Thomas is indicted at the Haig for raping a five year old on Trumpstein Island. That would give the next Dem POTUS three picks and balance this insane court.
