US Army Increases Maximum Enlistment Age to 42

Effective 20 April 2026, the US Army:

  • Increases the maximum enlistment age up to and including age 42 for prior and non-prior military service applicants.
  • Eliminates requirement of a waiver for a single conviction of possession of marijuana or a single conviction of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Adds major misconduct waiver approval authority to Commanding General, US Army Division for Regular Army and US Army Reserve applicants or Chief, National Guard Bureau for Army National Guard applicants.

    The bellicose Trumpf junta changed the name of the Department of Defense to Department of War, illegally attacked Venezuela and Iran, is conducting counter-cartel operations in Ecuador, re-opened the US Army Jungle Warfare Training Center in Panama, has made public their intentions on one day taking over Cuba and Greenland, and did not rule out bringing back the draft for young men between the ages of 18 and 26.
