Progressive Analilia Mejia was backed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). She rejects AIPAC funding, denounced Israel for committing genocide in Gaza, and called for abolishing ICE.
American Centerpoint, an Islamophobic super PAC that backs any candidates who support Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, failed in their miserable attacks against Mejia by tying her to popular and effective NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D).
Congresswoman Mejia will fill the rest of Mike Sherrill's term and narrow the Republicans' House majority to 218-214. There will be a regularly scheduled primary in June to serve a full term in the 11th District starting in 2027: NJ 11th CD

**** UK Arms Shipment to Israel Seized in Belgium ****
Last year, dock workers in Italy and Greece went on a massive strike to stop arms shipments being sent to Israel.
They succeeded.
In countries without AIPAC, the people tend to be less Islamophobic and not supportive of ethnic cleansing or genocide like in the US.
