The Memorial is a place that every American should visit. the first five minutes of the visit are stunning.

The saddest thing about the Memorial's display is the description of the State Trooper who stopped Mr. McVeigh and then disarmed him while taking him into custody. The trooper's actions started with asking whether or not there were any firearms in the car, to which McVeigh answered honestly. These days, OK Troopers no longer ask. Were this tragic bombing to happen today in the Sooner or Later State, a mass murderer would have been sent on his way...
