The United States can't lead the world in defending press freedom on World Press Freedom Day when it's actively dismantling it at home.

Did I say that? No, I didn't.

They rank countries based on press freedom but don't provide the data points they use to come up with the rankings. At least not that I saw in the thread link or the one you provided.
