Steve Hilton, That's Not a 'Street Taco'

Steve Hilton, a Republican front-runner in the race for governor of California, recently visited the oldest operating Del Taco in the United States for what he might have thought would be an uncontroversial pit stop. "Check it out: the original Del Taco. There it is," Hilton says in a video he shared on social media last weekend from the fast-food restaurant in Barstow, Calif. "My Barstow street taco. I'm going to enjoy it."

Something tells me the English billionaire isn't too familiar with street food.
This notion that billionaires must know what's best for all really mystifies me. Billionaires know about making money and exploiting people to maximize their earnings. Not a great base for politics, unless your primary goal is taking care of billionaires.

I think that's attributable to the fact he's running for office. Even middle class people who run for office have a sense of knowing what's best for all. It's inherent to their ambition.

And let's face it.....people DO like being told what's best for them. It's why politicians do it.
