Poll: Too Much Money in U.S. Politics

A new poll shows that a large majority of Americans say they think there is too much money in U.S. politics. Politico released a poll on Saturday showing that 72 percent of Americans say there's too much money in politics, whereas 5 percent say they disagree.

Five percent of Harris voters and 4 percent of Trump voters say they disagree.

Pollsters also found that a majority of Americans say they think money shapes election outcomes, with 39 percent telling Politico's pollsters that money can outright buy results. Another 34 percent say money can influence elections, but not buy them.

Most U.S. adults, at 61 percent, say billionaires have too much influence in politics, with 15 percent who say billionaires have the right amount of influence. ...

Most Americans agree on the majority of policy issues.... what divides us are mostly the social and cultural issues that the Elites pay politicians to keep in the media and keep dividing us.

Divide and conquer is as old as the world.

Corporations, organizations, clubs, unions, foundations, sororities and fraternities, trusts, institutions, associations, leagues, alliances, agencies, coalitions, religions, cults, etc.

All of these give money to politicians in one way or another disguised as "people".

Want to get money out of politics?

Here's the formula:

  1. Obtain absolute political power in Congress in 2026-2027-2028. Nothing gets done without a preferred 280 Democrats in the US House, and a preferred 60 Democrats in the US Senate. NOTHING!

  2. The Democratic candidate wins the White House in 2028.

  3. Legislation is promulgated to completely restructure the Supreme Court of the United States. The legislation passes the US House by a substantial margin, and the expected filibuster, by the remaining elements of the MAGA/Republican Senators, is overruled by Democrats.

  4. Said legislation completely restructures the existing population of SCOTUS, and gives the new Democratic President the authority to appoint a majority of the new Court.
That's how you do it.

Big money is ruining politics.
It's already ruined the Republicans.
They work for Russian Rubles now.
They also raised your gas prices fifty percent, but I guess as an oil and gas trust fund baby, higher prices at the pump is a huge win for you.

You ever notice how you can't just be happy, even when things are going your way?
