don't mean to demean your post but this is a 'captain obvious" thing isn't it ?

I'd think that 72 was way too low.

There are 5 Supreme Court justices that are bought and paid for.

2. Agreed. A headline that can run anytime and a poll where the results won't change very much.

Unless conditions change.

Most Americans agree on the majority of policy issues.... what divides us are mostly the social and cultural issues that the Elites pay politicians to keep in the media and keep dividing us.

Divide and conquer is as old as the world.

Loves being owned by people who wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire... and they needed to pee.

Why should the wealthy and the corporate be allowed to have laws written to help them and hurt others because they can now legally bribe politicians?

Of course he is, Eb... I mean, it's not like he hasn't proven to be a racist, misogynist, jingoist xenophobe... who doesn't know what any of those words mean.

Corporations, organizations, clubs, unions, foundations, sororities and fraternities, trusts, institutions, associations, leagues, alliances, agencies, coalitions, religions, cults, etc.

All of these give money to politicians in one way or another disguised as "people".

This poll might be interesting if it meant diddlysquat. Currently, it does not.

#13 You are, as always, 100% correct, AngryDad. It means nothing.

Want to get money out of politics?

Here's the formula:

  1. Obtain absolute political power in Congress in 2026-2027-2028. Nothing gets done without a preferred 280 Democrats in the US House, and a preferred 60 Democrats in the US Senate. NOTHING!

  2. The Democratic candidate wins the White House in 2028.

  3. Legislation is promulgated to completely restructure the Supreme Court of the United States. The legislation passes the US House by a substantial margin, and the expected filibuster, by the remaining elements of the MAGA/Republican Senators, is overruled by Democrats.

  4. Said legislation completely restructures the existing population of SCOTUS, and gives the new Democratic President the authority to appoint a majority of the new Court.
That's how you do it.

5. The New SCOTUS overrules every single egregious decision by the "Roberts Court."
