Several locations of fast-food chain Taco Bell have closed their indoor dining room. The drive-thru windows at the restaurants will remain open for customers to order food. The closures mark the latest major fast-food chain shutting down its indoor dining room in Oakland. Last year, Raising Cane's near the Oakland Airport closed its dining room. Back in January, In-N-Out announced it would be closing the doors of the chain's only Oakland location because of the rise in crime.
Luckily, I have been assured by criminal apologists that food deserts are a figment of my imagination.
So I guess those people who are too poor to own a car, walked up to the drive-through, and were turned away because selling food to customers on foot is against restaurant policy because they could get killed, are also a figment of my imagination.
They are closing to cut costs. Nothing to do With safety except for the safety of the CEO's wallet. #12 | Posted by a_monson
And the other restaurants that shut down in that same area also citing safety? Including the In-N-Out that claimed it was turning a profit but shut down a location for the first time in its 75-year history?
Man, the criminal apologists are about as deluded as the MAGAt insurrectionists it seems.
You believe Oakland, California to be a food desert?
Its been called that in many areas of Oakland.
What will people do without Taco Bell!!!!!!!
