Pi Day isn't just about showing off how many numbers you have memorized " restaurants from Burger King to California Pizza Kitchen are offering deals and discounts on Thursday, March 14th.

There was a pizza joint in Long Beach called "Pizza Pi". Always thought that was pretty clever. Decent pizza, too.

Speaking of pizza, there's a lot of Pizza parlors around the country with 'Pi Day' specials including Pizza Hut, Round Table Pizza, Papa Murphy's as well as a few others.

Even in engineering school, 3.14159 was good enough since the next digit was a '2', which meant any rounding would not have changed the '9'.
