Over the weekend, the Washington Post's Beth Reinhard published an excellent article about one of Donald Trump's most visionary advisers, an obscure figure named Russ Vought.

It's a good idea to highlight the maniacs who will populate a 2nd [Trump] administration.

Why would anybody describe him as a visionary when he's a dangerous, religious zealot plotting to destroy this country if he's handed the chance! Cheesh-call it like it is, every time and all the time!

In a dark sense, the most hilarious thing about the theocracy is that it mandates belief in a myth. There is no god, no being on a cloud somewhere looking out for everyone. They would imprison in the name of a myth, pretending that they are not just bullies that like to dominate people, especially female people. America was founded to protect people from the deadly cults of religions nuts who want to rule as gods themselves.

I've seen it all my life, first growing up in a very red Nebraska,
and now living in a very red West Virginia. People who are poor,
who have been bypassed in life, tend to lash out at others that
have more, that have accomplished more. They don't WANT a level
playing field. They want REVENGE pure and simple...

Obama was caught in an uncharacteristic moment of loose language. Referring to working-class voters in old industrial towns decimated by job losses, the presidential hopeful said: "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Obama got it exactly right, which comes as no surprise to anybody except Republicans.
