Conservative Groups Creating List of Fed Employees to Fire

The Associated Press reports on American Accountability Foundation, a group that is digging into the background of federal employees to make a list of those who would stand in the way of Donald Trump's agenda. The group plans to publish the names of the employees that have been put on the list.

Civil Servants do not have to obey illegal orders.

Civil Servants take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States (and the Constitution of the State they reside in) against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

They work for the American taxpayers. They are not personal attendants to not do they work the President.

The President selects executive branch employees and tenet do work directly for the President. He can hire or fire them at will. The President does not give orders directly to civil servants below the executive level.

This is extremely difficult to do. Laws are in place protecting government employee jobs in order to prevent a spoils system after each election. In so doing it's created a bureaucracy class that runs large swaths of our government without a whole lot of accountability.

No simple solution.
