These new sanctions are righteous as every cent counts that does 'not' end up in Russia. No western money for those fascists. I went to visit Poland in 1986 and I asked about exchanging my US dollars for the Polish currency and people would flip out. "Not one zloty""Do not exchange with the government we will bring the government to its knees!" At this time any money that polish people had had come through the black market so as to not help the Russian controlled government and people were serious about this. "Ronald Reagan good! Bomb Russia bomb Russia!" was what the young Poles kept telling me. "We want democracy, not your American or the French or English democracy but our democracy Polish democracy!"

Democracy as practiced by the Poles today...makes the wokeys cringe. The Poles seem to like it though

"Banks in Kyrgystan, a member country of Russia's CSTO military alliance, are blocking transactions even in rubles in both directions with Russian banks."

"Moscow bank branches have run out of cash. In the morning, a correspondent from the Moscow Times visited almost two dozen branches of large banks (mainly Sberbank, but also Alfa and Avangard), but none of them had dollars."

"Russia: Rosbank this morning. They'll buy your US dollar for 52.8 rubles. They'll sell you a US dollar for 132.4 rubles. Financial advisors in Russia are warning businesses to hold off on concluding any ruble-denominated deals for fear the currency could plummet any day now."

BRICS? lol.
