GM Lays Off More Than 1000 Salaried/tech Employees

GM declined to disclose the full number of layoffs, but a source familiar with the matter confirmed more than 1,000 salaried employees would be laid off, including 600 in Warren, Michigan. Impacted employees were notified Monday morning.

hmmm wonder if it's related to the data sell off. GM is just too big for its britches sometimes.
