Ethel Kennedy, Widow of Robert F. Kennedy, Dies

Ethel Kennedy, who lost her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, and brother-in-law, President John F. Kennedy, to assassins' bullets, and who channeled her grief into raising her 11 children and lifetime of public service, died Thursday. She was 96.

The silence here is deafening. It seems her late husband's namesake has sucked all the oxygen out of the Kennedy legacy. That's a shame. Camelot deflated.

I can't imagine being a Kennedy wife was easy. She had a front-row seat to history It's not a place for wimps... of any gender... even the fabricated ones. She saw the same images of her husband that her son did... with him sprawled on the floor... life leaking from his head... the pictures that tweaked Bobby Jr's head.

For better or worse she was part of a family... destined to change a lot of things...

RIP... with a sign of the cross for good measure... since today we live in a nation that has no problems electing a Catholic preznit...
The Kennedys paved the way for Biden.
