Spain Mulling 100% Tax on Homes Bought by Non-EU Buyers

The Associated Press is reporting that Spain could begin charging a 100 percent tax on home buyers who are not citizens or resident of the European Union. The move would be in response to the lack of housing available in the country.

Where did the idea come from that having more demand for housing from rich foreigners and visitors makes your country better? Every policy and philosophy should be a subset of MAGA and about Making Your Country Better for its own citizens. The concept of offering multi citizenship needs to end too. It is akin to having multiple spouses. Citizenship and marriage means loyalty and fealty to only one (spouse or country).
