Judge Halts Trump's Government Worker Buyout Plan

A US judge has temporarily halted President Donald Trump's plan offering incentives to federal workers to voluntarily resign before a Thursday midnight deadline.

NEW: Just hours before federal workers had to decide on the Trump administration's "Fork in the Road" buyout offer, a Massachusetts federal judge temporarily halted the program until at least next Monday to hold another hearing.

Yet another Judge also kicked most of DOGE out of the treasury payment systems, at least temporarily.

But Republicans are blocking Dems in the House from bringing Musk in to answer questions about what it is he is doing with Programs that they, Congress, originated and fund.

But what recourse will there be if Trump and Musk simply ignores these court orders? The courts cannot enforce their own rulings. They have no police or enforcement officers. They depend on people acknowledging the courts authority and complying with their orders. And if they don't, their only recourse is to turn it over to the DOJ to enforce their orders, but does anyone think that Pam Bondi and the DOJ will do anything that Trump doesn't want done?

The thing is at some point The Law will mean nothing to everyone and that's when the true Purge will begin.

But until then Trumpy cannot fund his own purge.

He will need Congress to appropriate and approve of how the money is spent.

Anyone who accepts this offer without congressional approval risks losing everything and getting nothing.

And now J.D. Vance has come out and claimed that the Judiciary has no say in whether Trump's Executive Orders are legal or not. Hasn't he ever heard of 'Check & Balances'? Or was he basing this claim on the Supreme Courts opinion that the President is immune from being held responsible for actions he takes while in office? Or perhaps Vance was just setting the stage for when he might be in a position to do even more damage?
