An Amazing Place You've Prolly Never Seen Before

In this episode, I ride to AlUla - one of the most scenic towns and areas I've ever seen in my life.

Comments

"But besides stunning scenery and some of the best sand riding I've done so far, I ride to Hegra.

And Hegra, quite frankly, absolutely blew my mind..."

What a great way to see the world!

Corky. I really really enjoy her videos. Thanks for sharing!

But unfortunately now I am in trouble because now I want to marry her and run away with her. And her bike.

- And her bike.

Frankie is a custom-made ADV built on a 1987 Yamaha frame. Kickstart and electric, and lots of custom parts.

She's got a personality that people in all countries respond to. She's on her way to Japan now.

"And her bike"

She handles riding in sand really well. I think this is the largest displacement bike she's ridden in any of her videos?
This is a 1987 Tenere 600cc.

- this is the largest displacement bike

It is... her last bike was a Honda CRF 300 Rally, which was light enough to pick up and was a great bike. But the electronics on any of the modern bikes can be a problem when they go out in the middle of nowhere.

So this one was built for her by a German guy; new old parts, new parts, custom springs, and such. Some great new sand tires with metal studs just for Saudi.

Frankie was stolen a in Iraq I think it was, some weeks ago, and the main electric cable cut. She got her back same day, and would have still been in trouble had it not back for the kickstarter.

You can see all her bikes here (scroll down)

Tourists in Saudi Arabia, that's wild.

They are really committed to rehabilitating their image on the global stage.

Her first ride into SA was almost surreal to me; every corner it seems had an American franchise on it.... Starbucks, McDonalds, Wendys, Buger King. 7-11.

It quickly dissipated for the most part out in the desert, but wow. I've seen these all over Asia and Europe and such, but it was a bit shocking in SA.

Women by the car full driving SUVs out in the desert, too! That was crazy.

Saudis must be upset though; they gave Jared billions of dollars, and all they are going to get back for that are tent cities of displaced Palestinians in their deserts.

They appear to be to be much older excavations that were crudely modified.

Petra doesn't appear have that kind of damage, but it does have a buried courtyard.

The proposed Saudi mirrored Noe is a deathtrap to migrating birds and should be stopped entirely.

Well-produced and she is charismatic.
