Russia Suspected of Killing Five Ukrainian POWs in Kursk

Russian forces allegedly executed five Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) in Kursk Oblast. A video circulating on social media purportedly shows unarmed Ukrainian soldiers killed after being captured by Russian troops. "We once again see a cynical disregard for international humanitarian law on the part of the Russian army," a Ukrainian spokesman said, adding that he had sent letters to the UN and the ICRC to document the suspected war crime. The news comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin made his first visit to Kursk Oblast on 12 Mar since Ukraine launched its cross-border incursion into the region in August 2024. Russian and Wagnerites have been committing war crimes against Ukrainians since Feb 2022. An ICC international arrest warrant remains active for Vladimir Putin. Link: ukraine.un.org

I like POWs who don't get executed.
