Well pertussis is included in the Tdap vaccine so if you don't want those toxins in your body causing autism, you get pertussis instead.

When a person with a decent immune system gets pertussis, they might just think it's a regular cold and not take any extra precautions not to spread it.

I had whooping cough as a baby. One of my first memories was being in the oxygen tent looking at my parents through the plastic. There was no good vaccine back then.
