A rural clinic in Nebraska is shutting its doors after more than 30 years due to mounting financial pressures and looming federal funding cuts tied to Medicaid, ABC affiliate KLKN reported Wednesday.

Community Hospital has announced the difficult decision to close Curtis Medical Center, located in Curtis, Nebraska. An exact date for the closure is yet to be determined. Inflation over the past few years combined with the current uncertainty of future federal funding has led to this decision.

the hospital is closing in the "southwest portion of the state"

In the 3rd Congressional District

I have ZERO sympathy for these ---------.

They were told and told and told

I'm tired of trying to convince people that the Trump approach to governance is intentionally designed to make life more onerous for all but the privileged few. Yet, these hospitals are closing? Funny how that works. Orange pig man will take that money to either give to his children's projects, keep it himself, or give it to ICE.
