Trump to Military: Use 'dangerous' US Cities as 'training grounds'

Trump on Tuesday told a gathering of military leaders they should use American cities as "training grounds" and described a federal crackdown on crime in major cities as "a war from within."

In one historic speech, Trump eviscerated decades of civil-military restraint and proclaimed the U.S. armed forces as his weapon of choice against domestic "enemies."

"Pritzker compares Trump to Putin, calls for invoking 25th Amendment for suggesting military use Chicago as "training grounds"

After President Donald Trump on Tuesday suggested cities like Chicago should be used as "training grounds for our military," Gov. JB Pritzker said the 25th Amendment should be invoked to remove the president from office, saying "there is something genuinely wrong with this man."

"It appears that Donald Trump not only has dementia set in, but he's copying tactics of Vladimir Putin. Sending troops into cities, thinking that that's some sort of proving ground for war, or that indeed there's some sort of internal war going on in the United States is just, frankly, inane and I'm concerned for his health," Pritzker said Tuesday afternoon.

"There is something genuinely wrong with this man, and the 25th Amendment ought to be invoked."

And replace trump with JD? That solves nothing.

It might. Vance is probably smarter and more dangerous, but has no star power or natural grifting capabilities.

Vance would be obligated to bend to the will of his backers, and certainly would. Lewzer just runs off his own whims and fantasies, and could care less what his donors/supporters think.

The entire Republican party is scared shitless of Lewzer. None dare utter even a mild criticism. I don't think any of them are afraid of Vance. Miller would stab him in the back in a heartbeat.
