Make no mistake here, this is the US President declaring war on major American cities.

Trump looks at Democratic led cities as Bibi and Smotrich look at Gaza.

He sees Terrorists to be destroyed without pause or Mercy.

Trump is going to unleash the full force of the US military on his own people.

That's becoming Clear.

There are Wild Times Ahead.

The is flat out authoritarianism.

I still remember the apoplectic meltdown the GOP had over Obama "invading" Texas through underground tunnels built under WalMarts for the express intent of overthrowing Governor Hotwheels.

www.newsweek.com

"There was a time in modern history when the GOP was a party of ideas"agree with them or not, its leaders were dominated by smart people who assembled ideologically consistent policies based on facts, statistics and history. But, as Bruce Bartlett, a former senior policy analyst for Ronald Reagan, recently said, "Now it's the party of crazy people, ignorant Tea Party people"people who know nothing and are proud of it.""

I'M SO TIRED of all the 1930's Fascist Comparisons!

btw... when will our Trumpers here admit that they SUCK?

#8 | Posted by Corky at 2025-09-30 12:35 PM | Reply

I know there are a dozen new scandals and incitements a day involving this administration, but the words of these two fascists seem to be on a whole different level.

This might well prove to be the red line that will turn public opinion against this so-called president. Whether this rethinking makes a substantive difference in how Trump proceeds has yet to be determined. But as someone said upthread, it might be a good time to patronize the outdoor sporting goods section of your local retailer.

"Pritzker compares Trump to Putin, calls for invoking 25th Amendment for suggesting military use Chicago as "training grounds"

After President Donald Trump on Tuesday suggested cities like Chicago should be used as "training grounds for our military," Gov. JB Pritzker said the 25th Amendment should be invoked to remove the president from office, saying "there is something genuinely wrong with this man."

"It appears that Donald Trump not only has dementia set in, but he's copying tactics of Vladimir Putin. Sending troops into cities, thinking that that's some sort of proving ground for war, or that indeed there's some sort of internal war going on in the United States is just, frankly, inane and I'm concerned for his health," Pritzker said Tuesday afternoon.

"There is something genuinely wrong with this man, and the 25th Amendment ought to be invoked."

It might. Vance is probably smarter and more dangerous, but has no star power or natural grifting capabilities.

Vance would be obligated to bend to the will of his backers, and certainly would. Lewzer just runs off his own whims and fantasies, and could care less what his donors/supporters think.

The entire Republican party is scared -------- of Lewzer. None dare utter even a mild criticism. I don't think any of them are afraid of Vance. Miller would stab him in the back in a heartbeat.

Is Trump's Cult of Personality Contagious?

Can JD carry the Torch? Does he have the Stuff of MAGA?

Who Knows.

Trump is Uniquely Disgusting to Anyone of Human Feeling.

He Feeds people's Fears and Petty Hatred.

He gives Permission to be an -------, Bigot, and Worse.

I really don't think so. Cults need a celebrity leader and Vance was, and frankly still is, a nobody. Joe Rogan would have a better chance... at least he did some reality shows.

VP Vance seems to lack the ability to connect with Americans.

JD Vance says he 'felt terrible' for donut shop employee after filming video (August 2024)
www.cincinnati.com

... On the campaign trail, vice presidential hopeful JD Vance has been stopping at local eateries, most recently at an A&W in Big Rapids, Michigan. Speaking with NBC News, Vance responded to one spontaneous stop that didn't quite go as planned: the now-viral donut shop video.

In the clip shared on social media last week, Vance, members of his team and Secret Service agents visited a bakery in Valdosta, Georgia. One employee asked not to be on camera while the Ohio senator tried to make small talk and buy donuts.

"I just felt terrible for that woman," Vance told NBC in a story published Wednesday, referring to the bakery employee. "We walked in, and there's 20 Secret Service agents and there's 15 cameras, and she clearly had not been properly warned, and she was terrified, right? I just felt awful for her." ...

Yeah, apparently not a clue about how people may react.

@#10

Maybe VP Vance has not a clue about how he should interact with voters?

Or, maybe because a billionaire seems to have purchased his current position, VP Vance may not have a clue on how to proceed going forward?

I wish I knew.

What say ye?

"If I have to create stories* so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that's what I'm going to do."

Says it all.

We're not a democracy and now we're not a republic. We're more like a militarized plutocracy with a vastly deluded electorate.

Cities can be training grounds. Not like Trump wants, but I and some friends took on HPD SWAT in an exercise armed with paintball guns and grenades. We killed their entry team with the grenades, but they cheated and didn't die, then killed us all. Go figure.

Hi Redial-I should have posted this with the "It solves nothing" comment. If the Heritage Foundation malignancy isn't removed, it solves nothing. Vance in trump's place would only speed up the agenda, imho.
