Trump EO puts sancturary cities on notice

President Trump will sign an executive order on Monday that will direct his administration to compile a list of sanctuary cities that are in violation of federal immigration laws. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will be directed to "provide a list of sanctuary cities in which local officials are not complying with this federal order and are not complying with federal immigration laws," press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday, adding that the published list will include "state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws."

Fun fact.

Executive orders are not laws.

Irony is a 34 count convicted felon and adjudicated rapist telling people to obey the law.

Lewzer quotes:

"Why Is @BarackObama constantly issuing executive orders that are major power grabs of authority?"

"The country wasn't based on executive orders,"

"Right now, Obama goes around signing executive orders. He can't even get along with the Democrats, and he goes around signing all these executive orders. It's a basic disaster. You can't do it."

Keeping score, Lewzer's up to 139 Executive Orders in 100 days. That's more than Obama did in his first 4 years.

Most of them aren't even EOs, which are meant to direct agencies/departments how to interpret or enforce laws/policies.

Most of these read as late night fever dream rants of Constitution shredding nonsense wrapped up as 'trust us, this is good for you' language.

They're trying to actually implement law in the guise of executive "action."

If our Republic survives this, it will be decades of material to study in the flaws in our system and how they were exploited for blatantly illegal purposes.
