Congressman Subpoenas Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell

"House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issued a subpoena to Ghislaine Maxwell for a deposition to occur at FCI Tallahassee on 11 Aug 2025. The Department of Justice is cooperating and will help facilitate the deposition at the prison. Yesterday, Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) made a motion for Chairman Comer to subpoena Ms. Maxwell for a deposition at the Government Operations Subcommittee hearing. The motion was adopted by voice vote."

    Note that the deposition will take place after Pres Trump's fmr defense lawyer, Mr Blanche, likely will have had the opportunity to talk with Ms Maxwell's defense attorney (who, imo, should be focused upon getting Ms Maxwell out of jail) and possibly Ms Maxwell herself.

    Will that be a quid pro quo conversation, similar to what might have been done with NYC Mayor Adams?

    The fact they're going to ask the sex trafficker, rather than the victims, tells you everything you need to know about how this will turn out.

    Maxwell is smart and has no problem lying, she did it for decades, tricking underaged girls into sleeping with Donald Trump.

    It depends on what she is after. Being pardoned is not the same as being exonerated. Under the circumstances... she'd be hedging her bets on the continuing popularity of a delusional, senile old man long in the tooth...

    Also... Trumpanzee "wished her well" and could have intervened... on her behalf... at any time... but for some reason didn't.

    Trumpanzee screwed Epstein on a real estate deal and felt Epstein's girlfriend du jour up in front of him.

    Epstein sounds like any other Trumpanzee bromance gone south... only it makes me wonder what Trumpanzee had on Epstein... that ended up in a stalemate rather than a loyalty meltdown and personal ruin like Guiliani, Lindell, and Musk.
