Pentagon--Washington Airport Hotline Dead Since 2022

A critical communication hotline between the Pentagon and air traffic controllers at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport has been inoperable since March 2022, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Deputy Chief Operating Officer Franklin McIntosh testified before the Senate Commerce Committee on Wednesday.

When reached for comment by Newsweek, the Pentagon referred Newsweek to the Army. Newsweek has reached out to the Army via email on Wednesday afternoon for comment. ...

Maybe the White House should check whether or not the Hot-Line to the Kremlin is working?

Scherer: Did you mean to call me at 1:30 in the morning after the UFC fight? I got a call"

Trump: After what?

Scherer: After the UFC fight in Miami, I got a call from your cellphone number at 1:30 a.m.

Trump: Really? Oh, no, that's another"that sounds like another Signal thing.


The reporters said the interview came about after they managed to get Trump's cell phone number and called him.
